Summer sabbatical

So I guess I’m having to admit defeat after a month that has been incredibly busy both personally and professionally, a state of living which doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon. How does summer get so busy? In any case, I think I am putting undue pressure on myself trying to get various things done and worrying about not updating my blog on a regular basis, so I thought it would be easier if I just take a sabbatical for July and August and return with lots of new stuff in September. This will free up my time to write some new prose and poetry, and give me some breathing space to think creatively and decide where I want to take my blog next. There will be no new updates on my blog probably until the autumn, but I will be regularly updating my Facebook page, Twitter feed, and Instagram so be sure to check them out in the interim. See you all in September! P.H.D.

  1. Have a good, relaxing two months. I’ve been thinking of doing the same with my Plath blog, though I have heaps of what I think are interesting posts ready to fire off. The interest in Plath and the blog just seems so small during these months. Oh well, I’ll look forward to September…
